Elections are here, and the church has been in fervent prayer and fasting these past few weeks. I’ve benefitted much from it, as God deals with his people first before he deals with the rest. “Deliverance is a process”, was one of the things I’ve been taking from the sermons Ps. Johnson from Ivory Coast has been preaching. It’s been like one thing after another. First the seminar on Christian superstition, then the 21 days fasting, and next will be Easter. I’ve learnt that it really takes effort on my part if I want to see change in my life, and it has to be done the right way. And the right way is given to us in the Scriptures and in Jesus. The wrong way, at least for me, was 1 Sam 15:23. I can’t be the one deciding the rules.
