The 2nd person to bless me in response to my latest newsletter update emailed me this morning (which would be her evening, I suppose). I was really encouraged by her words. Just goes to show that God is trying to get my attention… trying to help me realize that this life is indeed about relationships, and about purpose and eternity. Help in times of some anxiety.
On work-related issues, the system that I’ve been working is going live on the 29th, which is a Monday. So far things have been working out well… they just completed the final (i assume) UAT today with no reports of strange occurences. This is my first really large project that I’ve worked on. I’ve done a smaller one before, with the Singapore government, and that one went really well. But this one involves 400,000 mobile subscribers, spanning the entire Thai nation… so it’s a liiiiiiitle overwhelming. I did learn a lot from this experience, though. Still, I’m not really sure where this places me in my career as things have been in transition lately. We’ll have to see.
The Ikea forum now has 8 members. About 3 of us are really active. Maybe 2. Or just me. It’s kind of lonely, so you’re welcome to drop by and browse… and sign in as a user… it’ll liven up the place a little.
