Wai Seng sent me this link for Presorium Software… it’s a free spam filtering tool (looks like more than a spam filter tool, actually…). I’m currently using SpamPal at home, which is also free. So far that’s been working well. Don’t know how it stacks up to the competition though.

I also found out that I can download Yahoo! mail into my Outlook, using YahooPops, which acts as a email pop gateway, and translates commands into HTTP, so that it can communicate with the Yahoo server. Pretty neat stuff! Now I don’t have to manually download all my mail one by one… I have tons of emails backlogged that I’ve been wanting to backup onto my local drive.

Another interesting website to note is The Knot, which features services such as an online wedding planner, gift registry, wedding web page, and more. It’s free to register. They just hope you’ll buy stuff thru their website, like gowns, accessories, gifts, etc…. which works for me, except that I’m miles away from any vendor in the United States. So, I’ll just be using the free service, thank you very much.
