another makan place

I went to Sri Kembangan for lunch today and was stuffed on claypot chicken with wine and pepper soup. If you head towards the Mines from KL, you will reach a flyover just before the main traffic lights to turn into Mines Wonderland. Take the flyover up and turn right, heading towards the kampungy area, which some people call old Balakong. It is on this road you will find the chi pow kai (paper wrapped chicken) restaurant. But to get to the restaurant that sells the yummy chicken dish, keep going straight into the stuffy, congested road, and look for the post office, which should be on your right. Find a way to make a U-turn on the same road, so that the post office is on your left. Then take a left up the small road after the post office. Then make a left turn and there should be a shack-restaurant place with the sign that says claypot chicken or something like that. I really should have taken down the name of the restaurant. Rustic eateries like this don’t usually have names among folk, even if they have valid restaurant names. They just go by the food they sell. Sri Kembangan Lat Thong and Fa Tiu Kai. Something like that.
