this has been dead tired week

It’s Friday! Just how many posts are there in blogs around the world about the comforts of Friday? Too many, I digress.
But this has been dead tired week. And I almost forgot that I have dinner tonight with my PUs (parental units) and some of their friends to celebrate my dad’s birthday (happy birthday, Pa! I still can’t reach your cellphone at this moment). Wish my sister were here. She and my dad share the same birthday. ‘Tis cool. I miss my sis.
This has been dead tired day. I woke up late yet again. Lunch took almost 2 hours, excruciating but somewhat welcome… the last time Jason, Warren and I met up for something was months ago. At work, I managed to actually make sense of this whole new web framework that I am taking a risk on…. it is a risk because I will not know if it will succeed or not. Thankfully, the boss gave support of it recently, provided more pressing issues are resolved first.
This has been crazy gaming week. If I wasn’t attached I think I would have turned into a vegetable. Half life 2, NSFU2, NOLF2 and lately, Sid Meier’s Pirates are all lined up for the weekend. Sadly, I have a lot of ‘homework’ to do. And they need to be done soon. They are important things. Important things for the wedding, and important things for people that are important.
This is crazy birthday time. Happy birthday, Kean Phoay! Happy Birthday, Wai Seng! Happy Birthday, En Sun! Happy Birthday, Pa! Happy Birthday, Lin! So, I’ve been going out a lot for food and fun. Too much fun. Maybe that’s why I’m tired.
Lee Lian is in Singapore, shopping her brains out. I’m sure she enjoys the shopping part. I have to stay focussed and finish all that homework. At least then I’ll have less to worry about after that. Maybe tired is what happens when you have lots to worry about when you have a lot of fun.
I should go.
