Troubadours gig
March 23rd, 2005 by boon
There will be a gig at Paul’s Place (previously in DU, now located just off Jalan Klang Lama) on the 6th of April, 2005 at 7.30pm. RM15 for the tix, which comes with one free drink.
Hopefully the new Paul’s Place won’t be as cramped as before. Longdrawn 2 was a lot of fun there despite the cramped space, tho… we were really blessed to have The Observatory play for us.
Anyway, this gig should be good. It showcasts a lot of local artists (starving and otherwise) who will be putting out their own work on display.
Warren Chan, who was also the best man at my wedding, will be swinging his axe on that night. Accoustic axe. ;p Should be good.
Other notables would be foreign acts such as Kelvin Tan from Singapore’s Oddfellows, local crooner Meor… um, the rest i’m not sure.
Apparently it’s related to this ICOM workshop thing, that is trying to promote the local music industry.
