As I suspected, I was an unmotivated, unfocussed, restless slug today. Sleeping at 2a.m. the previous night probably aggravated my fidgety moods, no thanks to 716comic. I’m quite surprised I managed to get work done.
I made another delivery today. Sales for the skin oils haven’t been too bad. I get random questions every now and then, and I’m keen on feedback in a month’s time from people who had bought from me.
Just in case you’re out of the loop, I’ve been helping my parents sell some clearance stock of their pimple-fighting Rosa T, scar-erasing Natur E, hair-growing Jojo E, skin-youthing Rosa E, and bacterial-repelling Tea Tree E.
Mom says online forums are the perfect place for folks who are new to the product, and don’t mind trying out close-to-expiry stock at lower prices. I guess it’s like ebay…. if you’re not getting a good deal off ebay, then it’s not really worth it. Although, there are some folks on lelong who are selling items at higher-than-market-rate prices. Where’s the love?!
Anyway, one good news from the holidays is that my car is now fixed. Well, partially fixed. It had broken sets of wheel bearings at the rear, and was making loud grinding noises.
Thanks to Adrian who introduced me to the “Na” workshop in Taman Megah. The owner, Ah Wai, does a really professional job and is the type of no-nonsense guy you’d like as a panel mechanic. He said that the wheel bearings that came with my car were of lower quality. Imagine that. Oh well, new wheel bearings for me. I can’t imagine I was living with the noise for almost 2 months. The next thing is to get my absorber replaced due to a manufacturing defects. Then I’ll be a really happy motorist.
