ultimate driving machine

I did a very stupid thing today. I went out and test drove a BMW E36 325i coupe… and was smitten.

If I was 30 years old, I think I would’ve bought the thing on the spot. But now I’m in stitches. The car is actually within reach, at slightly less than RM60k. The only thing bad about it is high insurance costs and road tax, which I think isn’t a big deal if you’re earning lots of money.

I unfortunately don’t earn lots of money, though I could probably afford monthly payments for this car. Still, I will cherish every single moment I had when driving it.

It has everything I think I would possibly want in a car when I’m 30. I just was getting ahead of myself. Apart from the seats, which weren’t leather, the general wear and tear of things, it had everything. Silky smooth transmission, perfect handling, 0-100 in 7.8 seconds, and looks that could kill.

Maybe I might find a few thousand dollars lying around somewhere, and then things might change. Ugh. I hate myself.
