It’s a Saturday and I had to go to the office. And tomorrow, I have to go to the office again. *sigh*

It wouldn’t have been so bad if my office was in town, but it’s not. Instead, it’s right in the middle of Malaysia’s so-called intelligent and highly underpopulated cyber-desert.

Yes, I am able to ferry myself in heavy traffic from my home to the desert office in 30 minutes, but even with light traffic, I can only manage 20. And I’m not enjoying the ride.

The scenery is lacking. The slow drivers hog the fast lanes, and I’m tired of paying tolls. In so little words, I can’t wait for July to come when we finally move to our new residence in KL Sentral.

Ok, so Brickfields isn’t exactly the best place to be, but at least there’s real food to eat around there.

Apart from that, life is fine. There are still traces of some stupid car at the back of my mind, but I’m praying that it will go away. I’ve decided to use my spare time to generate some cash, if I can. So, if anyone wants to hire me to build a website, fix your laptop, design a simple pamphlet or poster…. drop me a line.

Life with the wife can’t be understated. Over lunch the other day, a friend was telling me how she wanted to be a single mother, and I asked her if it was a trend or something. And she explained the rationale of giving birth at 21, high timing a career at 30 in order to allow the kid to enjoy the benefits of a luxurious lifestyle and education.

Mathematically, that makes a lot of sense. Consequentially, it’s not so certain. Why don’t I meet more people who tell me about their investment in relationships, no matter how broken they are?

Oh well, I’m going to go off now to watch Howl’s Moving Castle. I recently watched 13 episodes of Midori No Hibi, which was really lighthearted anime. You should watch it.
