street peddling, anyone?

I disagree with the thought that it is very hard to make money. Earning a living, however, is a different thing altogether. Making money and earning a living, though related, are not quite the same.

This article does give me some comfort that some folks don’t need to steal to earn a living. Selling pens work along the sidewalk work just fine, if you’re not aiming to build a sizable empire.

Which means to say that there are probably tons of opportunities out there to convert effort and time into something else. It’s just a matter of comfort, skills and experience.

So, those of us who are bemoaning our measly salaries can and should look out for other avenues and opportunities to leverage on skills and experience. It is true that Malaysian standard of living has increased, but the average salary hasn’t.

Politicians and crime syndicates are excluded.
