on medical leave

I pride myself on not taking too much medical leave during the course of my employment history, but today I am down… though not “out” yet, but definitely down. And down with a flu. Some nasty viral stuff.
I hate taking MCs because they throw me off schedule and off track. Though, at times I am really thankful for vacations, but that’s only because I’ve planned my vacation.
But I was really too tired to get any work done today, so I needed to get rest.
The picture I posted here is to show you that I was actually in bed.
And yes, that is my bedroom ceiling.
