Work and Rain
November 3rd, 2006 by boon
Another dizzy week is coming to an end (hence the term, “weekend”). I choose to represent today’s post with an image of a crane soaked in torrential KL rain.
That’s what the whole week has been for me, in general… catalytic thunderstorms and prolonged work hours, with a smattering of timely distractions to add more color to my already hectic schedule.
The good news is that we’ve received a letter from the MKland schmucks for the delivery of vacant possession (our apartment). The bad news is that they want to only pay 50% of the damages owed to us due to the delay.
The general consensus from my fellow residents was to submit a complaint to the consumer tribunal. I just found out recently that this results in legal action being taken on the developer. In other words, we’re suing them.
It just feels weird because I’ve never sued in my life before. I’ve been in the dark about a lot of things lately, so I guess I need to start learning about stuff like this.
Stuff to praise God for:
- the car
- Christmas choir
- happy wife
- EL&PP’s baby (still in womb)
Stuff to pray for:
- “less” work
- UK trip
- apartment
