I’m going to be on reality TV

Maybe.
My company was shooting a pilot episode of a proposed TV show for a local TV channel. The plot is two teams pit against each other on a better product innovation idea. In between there is the usual drama between members and a short interview session and “off stage” scenes where members interact with one another.
I was roped into one of the teams (which lost), and I tried my best NOT to look at myself in the mirror, lest I freak out and go into severe convulsions.
I also was still recovering from the dermal flare-up after coming back from UK, so there were occasions during the take where I sported a goatee made up of dry skin.
I think I handled the self-conscious thing quite well. I know it as denial. I didn’t bother asking anyone how I looked on camera, but it was an exercise that will go down in the books for me… I played a specific role in a TV show once in my life.
