Happy CNY everyone

I’m going back to Penang this CNY holidays… I was expecting some foreign affiliate to exclaim something like “holidays? I thought we just got past that”.
Well we have many seasons here… shopping, festivities and monsoon.
This one’s just as quick as the last one, and I’ve gone past being overwhelmed by one holiday too many to “let’s just get over this”.
But not wanting to spoil anyone’s mood… here’s wishing all of you a very happy Chinese New Year, full of joy and prosperity and unity and love and all that food. Take the opportunity this time to hug someone because it works. Reconcile all our differences, and get time to relax.
When I get back, there’s major house cleaning to do, friends coming over to hangout next weekend… and lots of work-related stuff still in the pipeline. I say busy is good ‘cos if you’re not, well that’s atrophy isn’t it? Maybe.
This is a quick one. I have to run off real soon. Dinner with the in-laws tonight before I run off tomorrow to be with my folks and family in Penang.
