Taking myself seriously
I just got back from Port Dickson over the weekend. We were at a cell group camp, and the theme was discussing families, and it was good, and I got a bit of that nap time I wanted, though I think I would really love 24 hours of non-stop sleep.
Things are really picking up at work. Some new initiatives have been presented to us, and I’ve been passed the baton to aspire greatness in our team - with lack of ideas and know-how on how to get things done. Great stuff to work on, but equally scary and challenging.
I suppose I count this my transition of transitions. Learning how to, uh, learn (that sounded corny), when I thought I was done with that awhile ago. And this whole project management exam I’m preparing for doesn’t help. This is where I’m positioned to experience the depths and reach of God’s grace and strength. I can’t do it on my own.
There are more details I could discuss, but I’d rather not talk about the intangibles. For some reason, I’d rather be sure about what I’m talking about is true, rather than shoot myself in the foot later on.
But fact of the matter is… I’m learning a lot about life right now, and I really need to make sure I don’t miss out on every single thing, because it’s going to come back and haunt me if I’m not prepared.
It’s way past “my” bedtime. Ugh… I need control.

hey boon yew,
i was googling ‘flora damansara’ and one of your posts came up.
is it really that bad? i was just curious about the place cause the rental is really affordable for PJ area (it’s around rm450 if i’m not mistaken).
am just checking around for some cheap places to rent for future purposes
wanna see how much it would be to maintain a place and live out on my own (not really on my own. but for when i get married. when. ahaha!)
Well, Charlotte… it’s not a bad place, really. It’s got good convenience stores downstairs, the parking could be better but at least they have parking spots in the basement.
But that’s if you - 1. have a low paying job, 2. don’t care about management much, 3. like a lot of people around you, 4. don’t mind congestion
ahh… well.
i’m working in the same company as adrian yap! hhahaha
pay isn’t too bad, but i dowanna be spending my whole life paying for my home too. i don’t mind a small and simple place.
i do mind congestion… ohwell.
will juts look see around. not in a hurry anyway.
thanks!
