Tony Roma’s in Malaysia
I had dinner with LL, ES, MVO, SY and EK tonight at Tony Roma’s at the Curve. My mother-in-law said it wasn’t as good as the one in Singapore. And I guess maybe because it was a halal establishment, as they didn’t serve pork.
And since they didn’t serve pork, out went a good number of ribs meals. In fact, when we looked at the menu, there were only two kinds of ribs available (beef, of course):
- ribs with bones
- ribs without bones
What in blazes?!
The onion starter thing was a bit chewy. It tasted a day old. Of all the 5 sauces they offered us for our meat, only the smoky flavored one tasted good. The steaks weren’t much to shout about.
However, Coke was free flow at RM6.90 (tax non-inclusive), and the ribs were actually really good. I think the fat made it taste a little better, that’s why. But overall quite tasty.
ES didn’t manage to finish all the ribs he had on his plate, though, despite the fact that MVO and him were sharing a plate.
Anyone who manages to finish a whole plate of ribs must be one hungry person!
