I was searching on Wikipedia for the ipod nano article, and I found something really surprising: various price points for the nano, some in an obscure denomination known as the Ringgit.

After this we can start taking on the world already. We just put MYR on every single Wikipedia post that publishes a price. In fact, who needs USD? Let’s convert them all! Hehehe…

Our denomination is popular enough to appear in the drop-down list of the world-renowned currency conversion site, xe.com. Changgih or not.

I’m so proud of our Ringgit (sic).

    Eh, Ringgit Malaysia is quite good OK.. when travelling, RM will appear on the exchange office boards quite often (when it’s the medium length type la. not the short short one)
