My work has been a heavy load, one thing after another, and I can’t wait to get my hands on something really interesting (soon). Right now, I’m just wanting to finish what’s left on my plate and move on to the next thing.
And speaking of next thing, I managed to get some chores done over the weekend… including removing 3 month old nails that got stuck in my tire. I got tired of pumping it every few days. The patches cost me RM24. It just surprises me that these little things can cause you to lose so much time.
But now that the tire’s been fixed, I can confidently drive it around like before. I don’t know why all three nails decided to end up on one tire.
The Ikea sale is still on, and I’m wanting to get my hands on a few more things – both sale and non sale. LL advised for the new catalog to come out and see if there are new products which may be nicer. It sucks that some of the older products are being phased out. Like the sluggis boxes – why in the world are they phasing those out?! They’re like the best boxes in the world.
I found out the roger chairs I got for the dining table were phased out too. Thankfully I found a set of them at the As-Is section, and we picked up a pair, so we have eight chairs now instead of our original six. I hope they last us a long time.
Anyway, we went out for dinner with our new neighbors yesterday, and they seemed to really enjoy the nonya food at Tanjung Bungah, SS2. At least KC was really getting into the fish head curry. They’re both from Canada, but are Chinese. I guess Chinese tend to have this thing for food anywhere in the world. I certainly have my share of indulgences both from the East and the West.
Anyway, I got lazy and tired to post something the past few days. So this post is a quickie. I managed to change bits and pieces of the blog, though, over the weekend.
If you think an area needs an improvement, do let me know.
