Priced to Sell

A BusinessWeek article titled, “The World’s Most Influential Companies” was published very recently, but this particular section of the article caught my eye.
Firstly, because I didn’t realize Unilever was so influential, and secondly, the photo they used shows Dove shampoo tagged with a Mydin price sticker. Anyone from Malaysia knows Mydin is a local hypermarket chain, and the label clearly shows RM3.70, for a slightly-smaller-than-average bottle of shampoo (which is pretty darn cheap).
Useful lessons to take away in this current economic climate.
