Motivation is a scarce resource

I’ve recently received one of my graded papers back and I didn’t do too bad. I also got my first choice for supervisor preferences, even though my second choice wouldn’t have been bad as well. Also, the projects I’ve been involved in are going fairly well – everyone on the team has a clear agenda, and we seem to be on the same page. Even my schoolwork hasn’t been overwhelmingly difficult.
But as all things go – there’s always a bad side, and that is my inability to do something that I’m completely unmotivated to do. And at this point, there’s tons of inspiration, but inspiration doesn’t equate to motivation.
So maybe I should just go to bed early and restart the day tomorrow.
